Private party room for two hours for up to 30 people, includes museum admission for your guests.
Unlimited access to the public galleries for self-guided exploration. A DelMNS staff member is available to help you during this time.
Parties are available Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
All parties must abide by museum rules and policies found here. Note: balloons, glitter, glow sticks, and fire sources are not permitted. Please review the rules and policies for more information.

Add-on programs
Choose from one of three 30-minute themed programs with several age-appropriate guided activities, available for an additional fee. Options include themed story time, games, guided tours, exploring scientific specimens, and a visit from a live animal ambassador.

Dino Days
Roar like a dinosaur! This prehistoric package includes a variety of age-appropriate guided activities, such as a story, dinosaur games, interacting with real fossils, or a guided tour of the PaleoZone. Expect a visit from one of our live animals whose ancestors were around at the same time as the dinosaurs.
Weird Wacky Animals
Explore the weird, wacky, strange, and unique parts of the animal kingdom! This package includes a variety of age-appropriate guided activities, such as an animal-themed game, a story, animal specimens, or a search for unique critters in the exhibits. You’ll also meet one of our own weird and wacky live animal friends.
Undersea Explorers
Join us for an undersea adventure! This ocean-themed package includes a variety of age-appropriate guided activities, such as an ocean-themed game, a story, nautical specimens, or a tour of our ocean exhibits. And don’t forget to be on the lookout for a visit from one of our live animal friends.
Dinosaur Gift Boxes
Dinosaur-themed gift boxes filled with fun toys and party favors. Additional $7 per box, paid at time of party.
Details
Set up/Clean up:
Hosts may arrive 30 minutes early to set up party room, and have 30 minutes after the allotted 2 hour timeslot to pack up and clean up the party room.
Capacity
Maximum of 30 people total included in the base package, and allowed in the party room (due to fire-safety codes). All additional guests over 30 must pay regular admission and may not be in the room if 30 people are already there.
What to bring
Bring your own food, decorations and tablecloths. DelMNS does not provide these items.
What NOT to bring
Fire sources (matches, lighters), balloons, glitter, confetti, and sharp utensils are prohibited. DelMNS staff can provide flame sources to light birthday candles.
If your plans change
Cancellations must be made at least two weeks before your scheduled program start date.
- If you cancel your reservation less than 2 weeks prior, you will NOT be refunded for your order.
- Cancellations made between 15 days to 30 days prior to your program start date will receive a 50% refund minus an administrative fee of $25.00.
- Cancellations made at least 31 days prior to your program start date receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $25.00.
