We offer School Day Off and Summer Camps!
School Day Off camps for the 2026-2027 school year are here!
We train all of our camp instructors in CPR & First Aid, Childcare Safety, and Behavior Management. All camp activities are onsite at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science.
Camp Scholarships
Limited scholarship opportunities for 2026 School Day Off Camps are available for those who qualify and apply using the link below.
To qualify, families must be in the EBT program and must submit a copy of their EBT approval letter for my EBT. P-EBT cards issued during the pandemic are not accepted for this scholarship opportunity. Scholarships cover 85% of the cost of camp.
Camp Waivers and Code of Conduct
Camp families must sign off on the Camp Waivers and Code of Conduct when registering their campers. These include:
- Emergency Waiver
- Camp Waivers and Release of Liability
- Participant Code of Conduct
- Program Discipline Policy
- Medical/Immunizations
- Media Release Form

Join or renew your membership to the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science while registering for camp and receive significant discounts on camp registration. Your membership supports our mission to excite and inform people about the natural world through exploration and discovery.
Discounts are for Level 4 and up. Families who are museum members when registering must continue their membership throughout their child’s time in camp. Learn more about membership.
Health and Safety Policies
As always, we prioritize the safety of campers, their families, and our staff. Safety protocols and procedures are ingrained in programming to ensure a safe environment for campers. We actively monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control, the State of Delaware, and the American Camp Association to inform our policies and procedures.
We are excited to offer campers the opportunity to purchase daily lunches, snacks, and beverages through the new Rest, Relax, and Recharge dining area. Menu options and fees will be provided closer to the start of camp.
Those not purchasing food through DelMNS are responsible for bringing their own food and drink to camp. Campers must each have their own designated lunches. Sharing food is not allowed, even among siblings.
We are committed to creating a safe, accessible, and fun summer camp experience for all campers. Families are required to fill out a medical form for their child describing in detail allergies and other important health/ personal information. Our staff reviews all medical forms and works with families to provide the best camp experience possible. Because our camp takes place in a public space, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
