Beginners Wire Wrapping Workshop from the Delaware Mineralogical Society

Learn the art of wire-wrapping a piece of jewelry. Wire-wrapping is one of the oldest techniques for making handmade jewelry and dates back thousands of years with some of the earliest pieces being found in Ancient Rome. Wire-wrapping can be used to create whimsical pieces as well as pieces of jewelry, such as pendants, bracelets and necklaces. This beginner-level workshop will teach the basics of wire-wrapping. We will be using sterling silver. Taught by Ellen Schwartzkopf.
Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline: Friday, October 7. This workshop is designed for adults.
