Delaware Mineralogical Society monthly meeting & lecture

The Delaware Mineralogical Society holds their monthly meetings and lectures at the museum the second Monday of January, February, March, April, May, September, October and November.
Social time is at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting beginning promptly at 7 p.m.

January 8: Bring and Brag. DMS members are encouraged to bring items they have collected, purchased, or otherwise acquired and tell stories about them.
February 12: The Origins of Life: the Atlantis Massif presented by Kuan-Yu Lin
Kuan-Yu Lin, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Delaware, was a recent participant on the International Ocean Discovery Program Expedition 399: Building Blocks of Life that sailed to the Atlantis Massif — an underwater mountain in the North Atlantic Ocean.
