Sensory Friendly Sunday

Families and friends with sensory disorders have early access to explore the museum with reduced noise, fewer people, hands-on activities for a variety of development levels, and welcoming volunteers and staff.
There are two arrival times to allow guests space throughout the galleries: 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Arrival times are flexible and guests may stay in the museum past 10:30 a.m., but the museum will be operating in its usual mode which may include increased volume, lighting, and number of guests.
