Nature Nook Hours: Friday-Monday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. | Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
The Nature Nook is especially designed for young children, and the space promotes interaction between them and their grownups, which is an important aspect of early childhood learning. Children can explore a cave, stream, meadow, and woodland to explore wildlife and habitats using simple tools and their senses.

Meet Megan
I'm Megan McDonald, the Nature Nook Lead here at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science.
After teaching in a classroom for many years, it is so exciting to bring my love for STEAM and my passion for instilling a love of learning in small children together in one really amazing place! When you see me in the Nature Nook be ready to hear really fun stories, sing silly songs, admire our incredible animal ambassadors, and explore so many different STEAM and nature topics. The PNC Grow Up Great Nature Nook
For the last decade, museum educators have partnered with PNC Grow Up Great to develop, pilot and present professional development programs for early-childhood educators. In recognition of PNC’s support of the museum’s education programs and metamorphosis into the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science, the Nature Nook has been renamed the PNC Grow Up Great Nature Nook.
