Take a break from exploring the museum to Rest, Relax, and Recharge in our new café area! Pull up a chair, charge your phone, and enjoy a snack by Jamestown Catering while enjoying views of the PaleoZone.

Guests are welcome to enjoy their own food and drink in the Rest, Relax, & Recharge café or, weather permitting, on the museum’s patio or picnic area. We ask that guests refrain from eating or drinking in the galleries.

Need to refill your water bottle? Water fountains can be found outside of the restrooms.

Museum Store

From stuffed animals to rocks and minerals, we’ve got it all here at our Museum Store! Visit the Museum Store for your favorite museum goodies and gifts for all ages. Or, shop online.

Coat Room

A coat room is available for guests to store jackets and other personal belongings. Please be aware that this area is not monitored and the museum is not responsible for any lost or missing items. Please keep your valuables on your person throughout the duration of your visit.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located in the hall between the atrium and the Delaware Gallery. Guests are welcome to use whichever restroom that best matches their gender identity and any harassment will not be tolerated. There is a single-stall, accessible restroom available, ask at the front desk for access.

Parking is free!

WiFi is available throughout the museum. Look for the DELMNS-GUEST network and connect, no password or login needed.

Delaware Community Foundation Respite Room

Sometimes a museum visit can be a little bit overwhelming. If you or someone in your party needs a break from the lights, sounds, crowds, and experiences in the museum, you can find a staff member to let you into the Respite Room, located in the Regional Journey Gallery. The room is also available for nursing parents.

The Respite Room project was made possible by a grant from the Delaware Forever Fund and other funds supporting capital needs of nonprofits throughout the State of Delaware at the Delaware Community Foundation.
