Everything! From new exhibits and refreshed public spaces to six preferred caterers offering an array of sumptuous menus, the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science offers truly unique options. Where else can you dine amongst dinosaurs, dance across Delaware, and have live animals entertain your guests, all in one location?

Catering Options
Our preferred caterers offer a variety of options.

Celebrate your wedding in a bucolic meadow, exploring Earth’s ecosystems, or among the dinosaurs
Whether your wedding includes a formal seated dinner, casual cocktail reception, or anywhere in between, the museum has a variety of options indoors and outside.
Rentals for weddings or other private parties are available after the museum closes at 4 p.m. Rental time must include time for set-up and breakdown.
- $3,400 for ceremony and reception
- $2,900 for reception only
- $1,400 for ceremony only (3 hours, including photos)
- Additional $550 for use of Ederic Exhibition Hall
- 5 percent discount for premium level members (Levels 8 & 10)
Add-ons
Ederic Exhibition Hall
Our largest event area; an add-on to rental packages. Available select weekends when not used for a special exhibit. Seats 150 for seated dinner with dance floor, 200 in theater-style.
Price: $550 add on fee.
Live Bird Presentations
Offer your guests a unique up-close experience with free flight birds from around the world. Perfect for any special or corporate event. Program presented by Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections staff.
Price: Available upon request, depends on specific options selected.
Live Animal Presentations
Some of the museum’s animal ambassadors (along with their human presenter) can help host your event! Must be added no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.
Price: $175 per hour/per presenter.
